The prophecy says, if the world tree reaches a million tree rings then the world of Azeroth would be living full of chaos and hatred. The great alliance of the Human, Elves and Orcs that defeated the Burning Legion in the battle of Kalimdor, would be a myth of the past. All this war and corruption was destroying Azeroth from its core, In such dire time when Azeroth needed a savior, instead a demonic baby will be born. The burning legion himself, re-incarnated as a baby, destined to destroy Azeroth.
But fate had its own way, the baby was not to be born in the scourge. He was to be born to the orcs and only handful of the greatest prophets knew about this, including the one who controls the undead, the Lich king, who has already hidden himself amongst the orcs to steal the baby. For the prophets who knew the danger this baby will become, for schemed to murder the baby as a child.
In between all these, the day came and a baby boy was born, away from war, to the Orc Warchief Thrall, in a tribe of handful orcs living peacefully. The prophets came to Thrall to warn him about this strange red colored, yellow eyed orc boy born to him. He knew his son, Lucifer is not a normal child from the moment he laid his eyes upon, he also knew he would give his own life to protect his son but still won't be able to protect him alone.
A great war is coming, forces will reunite again, Warriors from all corners of Azeroth will fight together as The Sentinels; to protect the world tree again. For the scourge have rose reunited, stronger than ever before under their new Lich King, Lucifer, the doom bringer. Sentinels seek not only to protect the world tree but destroy Lich King and the frozen throne once and for all, the Defence Of The Ancients (DOTA) have begun.
